America On the Move ® (AOM) is a nonprofit initiative whose mission is to improve health and quality of life by promoting healthful eating and active living among individuals, families, communities and society. For its 2008 "Steptember" marketing initiative AOM and its corporate partner, Pepsico, desired to integrate mobile marketing into the campaign in order to better reach Hispanic and African American mothers.
